ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Fabric Research and Development Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the team in the development of seasonal fabrics. The assistant will coordinate seasonal material orders, communicate with overseas vendors and mills, track and ensure timely delivery of orders, and maintain an organized fabric library.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain accurate and up to date information and pricing for all seasonal fabrics and lining in the PLM system
  • Place and track sampling fabric and lining orders ensuring timely delivery
  • Create Raw Material Codes for seasonal collections.
  • Process material sampling invoices
  • Attend and take notes in collection line reviews
  • Communicate cross-functionally with design, product development, and production
  • Responsible for organizing the in-house fabric library
  • Participate in vendor meetings and attend textile shows
  • Maintain the seasonal fabric chart in Excel

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Degree in Textiles or Apparel
  • 0-3 years experience in Fabric or Product Development
  • Basic knowledge of textiles

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Content Creation & Strategy

  • Own the organic social content calendar across all platforms (Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, etc.), ensuring alignment with brand initiatives and key moments.
  • Ideate, create, and execute engaging, trend-relevant, and brand-right content (posts, Reels, Stories, etc.) to drive awareness, engagement, and growth.
  • Partner with the creative team to produce social-first photography and video assets, while also rolling up your sleeves to create native content yourself.
  • Stay ahead of emerging trends, platform updates, and cultural moments, ensuring our brand is leading conversations.
  • Amplify key brand moments – including events, activations, campaign launches, celebrity placements, key press moments and more – by proactively identifying and capitalizing on brand storytelling opportunities


Community Management & Engagement

  • Be the voice of the brand across social platforms: respond to comments, DMs, and tagged content in a way that delights and engages our audience.
  • Build and nurture relationships with micro-influencers, loyal customers, and brand advocates.
  • Monitor and report on community sentiment and engagement metrics to inform content and strategy.


Collaboration & Growth

  • Work cross-functionally with PR, Influencer, eCommerce, and Customer Experience teams to amplify campaigns and key launches.
  • Analyze performance data weekly/monthly and deliver actionable insights to optimize content and community strategies.
  • Conceptualize and launch new social series, activations, or challenges to drive organic reach and audience growth.



YOUR PROFILE:

  • A social-native creator with 1-3 years of experience managing social media and communities for a fast-paced fashion, beauty, or lifestyle brand.
  • Obsessed with Instagram, TikTok and emerging platforms – you understand the nuances of each and know how to create content that works.
  • Excellent visual eye and copywriting skills; you can craft witty captions and curate beautiful grids.
  • One step ahead of social trends with the ability to quickly identify them. You’re constantly thinking about which trends are relevant to our brand and consumer set, and capable of moving quickly from leadership approvals to execution to maximize in real time opportunities.

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Marketing Manager will play a key role in managing marketing activities with our wholesale partners and owned and operated retail stores across both of Jaya's brands, Cinq à Sept and LIKELY. As the Retail Marketing Manager will partner closely with the wholesale account executive and DTC retail team to develop and execute compelling seasonal marketing campaigns with the goal of driving traffic and sales. You will be responsible for ensuring seamless delivery of all marketing assets and initiatives across wholesale accounts, managing timelines, and ensuring brand alignment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with account executives and retail marketing teams to craft dynamic, data-driven seasonal marketing campaigns that align with business objectives
  • Oversee campaign logistics, including the coordination of photography, key looks, samples, and budget management to ensure timely and successful execution
  • Develop and submit creative briefs for wholesale-specific needs such as seasonal product knowledge guides, digital lookbooks, and training materials
  • Provide strategic support for wholesale events, including Personal Appearances and trunk shows, by managing event materials such as guidelines, invitations, signage, and more
  • Coordinate in-store installations, managing seasonal visual displays, new product/category launches, and shop-in-shop experiences to enhance brand visibility

  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in retail or wholesale marketing, within the fashion or retail industry

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate and oversee all aspects of the production process, from pre-production planning to final delivery
  • Work closely with the Director of production, designers, Production Coordinators and vendors to ensure that all production milestones are met
  • Manage production schedules, ensuring that deadlines are adhered to and any delays are promptly addressed
  • Ensure all production processes comply with company standards and industry regulations
  • Prepare and maintain detailed production reports, tracking progress and identifying potential issues
  • Resolve any production-related issues that arise, coordinating with relevant teams to implement solutions
  • Oversee quality control checks at various stages of production to ensure products meet the required standards
