ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Development Technical Designer to join our Tous Les Jour and Main Collection team. The ideal candidate should be a team player, also playing a crucial role in bridging the gap between design and development, ensuring that our creative visions translate seamlessly into high-quality, well-fitting garments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Interact with Design during prototype development to achieve design intent.
  • Develop and create accurate tech packs, including specifications and garment construction details
  • Can able to conduct fittings, write fit notes and collaborate with design and oversea factories to ensure garments meet design aesthetic, fit, and spec requirements, understand the grade rules and make pattern corrections when it needed, able to drape a mockup for design approval
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve design and fit issues to ensure feasibility.
  • Update all fit notes and revise specs to TP in a timely manner after the fitting
  • Clearly communicate with factories with all fit changes after Proto reviews
  • Provide technical expertise during the design pass off, advising on construction techniques, fabrications, and finishing details
  • Ensure that all prototypes samples are reviewed /measured upon for fitting
  • Fit, evaluate, and approve proto samples, ensuring they align with design intent and quality standards
  • Update WIP tracker
  • Staying up to date with the latest techniques in the development of garments, on industry trends, technological advancements, and manufacturing processes to continually enhance product quality and efficiency


YOUR PROFILE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, or a related field
  • 5-7 years of related work experience in woven, cut and sew categories in high- end designer bands
  • Must have experience effectively leading / running fittings
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Illustrator
  • Strong understanding of garment construction, fit, and draping
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work in a team or individually as and when needed.
  • Phenomenal Detailed-oriented abilities
  • Excellent problem solving and deadline time management skills.
  • Strong organizational and follow up skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Knowledge of denim (wash/ non wash), suiting and outerwear is a plus

We are looking for an energetic Sales Specialist who is passionate about people and fashion to join our Soho Store team part time. This person should be a team player that thinks outside of the box and uses in-depth product knowledge and styling advice to be an expert seller while cultivating and maintaining client relationships.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Building loyal client base

  • Handling of register and POS
  • Provide excellent customer service, product knowledge and styling guidance
  • Overall cleanliness and tidiness of shop floor and stockroom
  • Maintaining visual standards
  • Assisting with receiving and putting away shipment
  • Replenishment of shop floor

YOUR PROFILE

  • 1-2 years retail experience with a luxury retailer
  • Flexible availability
  • Customer service minded with the ability to build relationships
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to take initiative and be solution oriented
